Factors that determine the value of your watch

Model: Reference numbers are used to identify the specific model, such as the reference 16202 for the modern AP Royal Oak Jumbo

Age: there are two ways to identify the age of your watch:

  • Warranty paperwork: the date sold will be printed on the paperwork

  • Serial number: Audemars Piguet watches produced after 1972 use a serial letter system to indicate the year of production. For example, a J-serial means the watch was produced between 2016-2018.

Condition: unworn, mint, or used

Accessories:

  • Warranty card or papers

  • Original box

  • Other accessories such as extra links, tags and booklets
